Laughter is an important tool, not only for battling the stress of cancer, but stress in life! Scott Burton delivers loads of laughter and more!

He is a survivor of a high grade osteo sarcoma (a childhood cancer, though diagnosed as an adult).  Treatment included a year of chemo and a cadaveric bone resection (bone transplant).  Before his diagnosis, Scott was a headlining stand-up comic and world-class juggler, performing with Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld and writing for prime-time TV.

With his unique take on adversity, Scott speaks internationally with an inspiring and laughter-filled keynote that calls for humanity and passion (on both sides of the stethoscope) throughout the cancer battle.

But Scott's program is not just the story of cancer. It is the story of LIFE! We are all survivors. His program hits home for everyone who faces a battle in life. Breast Cancer Awareness, Melanoma Symposiums, Young Adult Cancers, Women's Health Fairs, Sarcoma, Head & Neck Cancers and a wide range of chronic disease symposiums, Scott's story is not only relatable to all groups, but fills them with laughter and energy.

His unique fusion of clean comedy, world-class juggling and profound cancer stories makes for a truly memorable program. Read reviews below -

Also, his book, A Life in the Balance - a funny and touching account of his experience, makes a wonderful companion to his show.

"From a committee perspective, he was efficient and easy to deal with and he even stepped in to help set up our event and greet our survivors! The survivors' feedback was amazing and they were all inspired by the heartfelt humor that Scott easily infused into such a heavy subject.  We would highly recommend Scott to any of our fellow Relay For Life events without hesitation." "Wow! Where do I even begin to thank you for your wonderful presentation at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta? The part of the evaluations that one cannot portray on paper is the opportunity that you provided individuals to laugh who I have NEVER seen laugh in the many years that I have known them." "Scott Burton = EXCELLENT SPEAKER!  I have had several employees come to me and tell me that this was our BEST banquet EVER!  What a compliment!

Scott was funny and touched everyone that was in that room - 500 people.  He made his experience with cancer a journey we could all relate to.  Although cancer is not would have never known it by the laughter that we heard!  He had all of us - men, women, young, old, housekeeper, doctor - laughing hysterically.

Excellent Excellent Speaker"

“Excellent was checked by everyone.  One comment was, “Seeing a bunch of old ladies belly laugh hysterically was terrific!”  It was incredible and more than I could have ever wished for. Everyone loved it and we’re still talking about you. You kept us laughing and touched upon very emotional aspects of cancer as well.  It was such a wonderful experience, and as my boss said, “The best one yet”!" Jan Sullivan

"Again you were the high point of the conference as witnessed through the evaluations.  Many people rated you as a 10 or a 5+++ on a scale of 1 to 5, and 5 being the best.  One person wrote, “Scott was Absolutely THE BEST! Please have him back.” Susan Kramer
